Tajima Engineering's CB900F
The Tajima Engineering CB900F was completed in the spring of 2021, and the store's typical workmanship can be seen in every part of the bike. The concept is "this is what a CB-F should looks like today" and "Made to be comfortable for riding F for the first-time".
After listening to the requests, the body was worked out by Tajima to make sure that it would not be out of place with the current bike for the first CB-F. Each part of the frame is well reinforced to match modern radial tires, and the dimensions are 17-inch wheels front and rear. The chassis is adapted from current Honda models to keep costs low. The front area is VFR800F and the slim spoke wheels are CBR1000RR. The engine was ported and lightweight cranked when the CB900F was overhauled. The exhaust is a 4-2-1 up-type made by Yamamoto Engineering = Tajima spec. The volume and sound quality are gentle, and the power is smooth. The CB-F is now a machine full of the elements that are unique to today's CB-F.
Handle
Z-parts bar set on VFR800F stem and upper bracket. A STACK engine tachometer is incorporated in the meter for the CB-F.
Bodyworks
The seats are sponged and the surface skin is refreshed.
Engine
The engine was overhauled based on CB900F. The same applies to exterior repainting and head cover wrinkle paint. The power generation system has also been reinforced.
Intake & Exhaust
The carburetor is a CR Special combined with the YAMAMOTO RACING 4-2-1 Titanium Exhaust System.
Bodyworks
Steps are made by Chace. The frame was reinforced with Tajima style, and the exterior was fitted and painted with FB color.
Chassis
The front and rear suspension is constructed using stock Honda parts from modern bikes. For this time, Showa Φ43mm front forks/TOKICO 4-piston calipers/brake discs for VFR800F are used.
The wheels are 3.50-17/6.00-17, modern sports model sizes and the irregular 10-spoke cast wheels are for the CBR1000RR. The rear brakes are also for the CBR.
The swingarm is for CB400SF, The axle shafts are reinforced on the underside to strengthen the peripheral area of the axle support in conjunction with the axle shafts being increased in diameter from Φ17 to 25 mm.
