■Reason for Purchase, Usage, Comparison Models

I rode the Monkey 125, which I had been interested in for a while, on a rental and was very impressed.
I was thinking of buying a new one someday, when a great deal on a used one suddenly appeared, and I decided on the spot.

■Strengths

Cute looks, amazing fuel economy, fun to ride, never had a single breakdown.
Also very comfortable to ride, I should have ridden it sooner lol.

■Advice for Future Buyers

I, who was a "Cub" person, was completely won over after riding this on a rental.
While the Cub has its own merits, the Monkey is definitely superior in terms of motorcycle appeal and quality.
If you want to go on trips with lots of luggage, I recommend the Hunter Cub, but for overnight camping trips, this is the one.
It's also fun as a 1/1 scale plastic model, but I have to be careful not to get too obsessed lol.
You won't regret buying it just for its looks.
With over 30 years of riding experience, having experienced small and large bikes, domestic and foreign, new and old, I confidently declare this bike to be the best.

By the way, I rode the latest 5-speed model on rental and bought a used 4-speed model, but there's no significant difference to be particular about.
If I had to compare, I might say the 4-speed model is more fun with its pulsating feel, but they're both good lol.

■Future Customization Plans

For now, I'd like to change the muffler and power filter.
Other than that, I'll keep it as close to stock as possible.
Even the stock suspension is sufficient for using it like a cruiser. No complaints.
