Kawasaki "Z900 / Z900SE" to be released on October 1st! Standard specification arrives in Japan, only in black

Kawasaki Motors Japan plans to release the 2027 models of the "Z900" and "Z900 SE" super naked motorcycles on Thursday, October 1, 2026. The price is set at 1,485,000 yen for the Z900 and 1,661,000 yen for the Z900 SE.

Super Naked Equipped with Electronic Control and Navigation Functions

The Z900 is a super naked model equipped with a 948cc inline four-cylinder engine in a lightweight frame. It adopts the "Sugomi" design common to Kawasaki's super naked models, creating a sharp body shape with a low-slung stance and a raised tail.

The engine is equipped with an electronic throttle valve and an IMU, achieving sharp throttle response. It is also equipped with riding support technologies such as KQS (Kawasaki Quick Shifter) and Electric Cruise Control. Furthermore, by linking with the smartphone app "RIDEOLOGY THE APP MOTORCYCLE," turn-by-turn navigation can be used, improving convenience during touring.

The Z900 is available in one color scheme: Ebony x Metallic Carbon Gray, based on black.

The higher-grade Z900 SE enhances suspension and equipment

The higher-grade Z900 SE features enhanced suspension and equipment compared to the standard model. Brembo components are used for the front brakes, and Öhlins suspension is installed at the rear. The front fork has gold-colored outer tubes and added compression and rebound damping adjustment mechanisms. While the appearance of the Brembo M4.32 radial-mount calipers has been changed from the previous model, it is stated that there is no impact on performance.

Visually, it features a seat with a texture like genuine leather, with hand-stitched-style stitching lines at the bottom. Additionally, a USB Type-C power outlet is standard equipment inside the front cowl, enhancing practicality. Both models are equipped with ETC2.0 as standard and are designated as "Kawasaki Care Models," which include complimentary first-month inspection, 3-year periodic inspections, and oil changes. Sales are scheduled to be conducted exclusively at Kawasaki Plazas nationwide.

The Z900 SE is available in one color scheme: Metallic Matte Graphene Steel Gray x Metallic Matte Carbon Gray, combining matte gray tones.
