Four New Colors Arrive! Honda Announces 2027 "CB750 Hornet" in Europe, Featuring Vibrant Blue Metallic & Grand Prix Red

Honda's European division has announced the 2027 model of its naked sports bike, the "CB750 Hornet." While continuing to offer the "Honda E-Clutch" specification added in the 2026 model, it now features four new color variations. At this time, availability in Japan has not been announced.

The CB750 Hornet is a popular streetfighter in Europe, selling 10,000 units. It has also been introduced in Japan.

Introduced in Europe in 2023, the "CB750 Hornet" sold over 10,000 units in 2025. It is a popular model that has ranked in the top three for naked bike sales in Europe for the past two years. It was introduced in Japan starting in 2025, and the "Honda E-Clutch" specification was released in 2026. It has become a sports naked bike that leads Honda's current middle-weight sports class.

The 2027 model announced in Europe has no mechanical changes. The engine remains the same 755cc parallel-twin engine. It produces a maximum output of 67.5kW at 9,500rpm and a maximum torque of 75Nm at 7,250rpm. The vehicle weight is 192kg for the standard model and 196kg for the E-Clutch model, achieving a class-leading power-to-weight ratio. It adopts a Unicam valve train derived from the CRF series, and pursues optimal combustion efficiency through downdraft intake and a patented vortex flow duct. The engine also features a pulse-like feel thanks to its 270-degree crank. Additionally, it uses throttle-by-wire (TBW) and is equipped with three default riding modes (RAIN, STANDARD, SPORT) as well as a USER mode that can be customized by the rider.

In addition to the standard manual gearbox, the "Honda E-Clutch" remains available as an option. E-Clutch is a system that allows for gear changes using only the shift pedal without operating the clutch lever. In conjunction with the electronic throttle (TBW), it performs rev-matching during downshifts, enabling faster and smoother gear changes than a quickshifter.

The biggest change for the 2027 model is the refreshed color lineup. Four new color combinations have been set to further enhance its aggressive styling as a streetfighter.
