Suzuki has announced the 2027 models of its neo-retro style sports models, the "GSX-8T" and "GSX-8TT," in the Netherlands. While retaining the basic specifications and electronic control equipment, new colors with distinct presence have been set for each. Local deliveries are scheduled to begin sequentially from early September 2026. It is unclear whether these colors will be introduced in Japan, but the fresh red, reminiscent of the classic GSX750E, is likely to be in demand among retro fans.

The GSX-8S/8R are Suzuki's neo-classic sports models released from 2026. Their 776cc parallel-twin engine is shared with sibling models.
The GSX-8T and GSX-8TT, released from 2026, are sport naked bikes equipped with a 776cc DOHC parallel-twin engine. Featuring a 270-degree crankshaft, similar to the GSX-8S/8R, and Suzuki's patented cross-balancer system to suppress vibrations, they offer easy-to-handle performance. Their design, which fuses classical aesthetics with modern technology, has received high acclaim both domestically and internationally, earning the Red Dot Design Award in the product design category in 2026.
The electronic control systems are also comprehensive. They come standard with a bi-directional quick-shift system that allows for gear changes without clutch operation, and the S-DMS (Suzuki Drive Mode Selector) which allows riders to choose from three output characteristics according to riding conditions. Additionally, a three-level (plus OFF) traction control system, low RPM assist, and Suzuki easy start system are adopted. The instrument panel features a 5-inch TFT color LCD display, and notable features include a USB-C port, a 16.5L fuel tank, and a lightweight lithium-ion battery. While boasting a neo-classic look, their cutting-edge performance and convenience are drawing attention.
