In this project, we pick up and introduce a bike that catches our editorial team's eye from the MY BIKE posts on the Webike Community. This time, we're featuring the SUZUKI "V-Strom 1050," owned by "Katsu.".

Suzuki's V-Strom 1050 is a large adventure model that combines high comfort for long-distance touring with the powerful torque characteristics unique to its V-twin engine. By combining an iconic design reminiscent of the traditional "DR-Z" with the latest electronic control systems, it pursues off-road capability in a wide range of situations, from paved roads to unpaved roads.

The current model, in particular, is equipped with advanced riding support functions to reduce rider fatigue, and is designed to demonstrate its true value the longer you ride. While it has the imposing presence of a large motorcycle, its practical design, typical of Suzuki, has earned it support from many riders.

Katsu chose this 1050 after considering the V-Strom 650, in order to experience the world of big adventure they had always admired. They seem to be fully enjoying the relaxed ride unique to the large model and the comfort provided by electronic controls. The evaluation of a "gentle ride" that belies its imposing appearance conveys that Katsu has a deep appreciation for the nuances of this motorcycle.
