[Europe Announcement] Kawasaki Announces 2027 Model of "Ninja 1100SX" with New Graphics

Kawasaki has announced the 2027 models of its sport tourer "Ninja 1100SX" and its higher grade "Ninja 1100SX SE" in Europe. Deployment in Japan has not been clarified at this time.

Sport Tourer with Full Electronic Control

The "Ninja 1100SX" announced by Kawasaki in Europe is a liter-class sport tourer model. Its 1099cc liquid-cooled 4-stroke inline 4-cylinder engine produces 136PS and a maximum torque of 11.5kgf・m, balancing strong torque in the low to mid-range with high-rpm performance.

The chassis features an aluminum frame, inverted front forks, and Ninja ZX-10R-style horizontal back-link rear suspension. Electronic controls include an IMU-based cornering management function, 3-mode traction control, 2 power modes, and 4 integrated riding modes. A quick shifter with up/down capability and cruise control are also standard equipment.

The higher grade "Ninja 1100SX SE" is equipped with Brembo front brake discs, M4.32 calipers, master cylinder, and stainless mesh brake hoses. The rear features an Öhlins S46 shock with preload adjuster, and grip heaters are also standard.

Furthermore, it supports wireless connection to smartphones via Kawasaki's dedicated app "Rideology App." Voice command functionality allows for setting changes without removing gloves. The app also provides access to vehicle information, riding logs, phone notifications, and navigation features.

The 2027 model features updated color graphics, with one color for the standard model "Ninja 1100SX" and two colors for the higher grade "Ninja 1100SX SE," totaling three colors. Deployment in Japan is currently undecided.
