Prima Pramac Yamaha MotoGP has announced that Isaán Gázquez will be their rider for the 2027 season. Alongside Toprak Razgatlioglu, whose selection was already confirmed, they will tackle the season with the introduction of new technical regulations.
2022 Moto3 Champion Steps Up to the Premier Class
Prima Pramac Yamaha MotoGP has announced the signing of Isaán Gázquez as a new rider for their 2027 season lineup. Gázquez is a young rider who won the World Championship in the Moto3 class in 2022 and is currently competing in the Moto2 class. Together with Toprak Razgatlioglu, whose move to the team has already been confirmed, they will form the full rider lineup for 2027.
2027 will be a pivotal year for MotoGP, with significant changes to technical regulations, including a shift to 850cc engines and the introduction of a new tire manufacturer. Yamaha explains that this transition into a new technical era is the ideal timing for the rookie Gázquez to step up to the premier class.

Gázquez, whose promotion to the premier class has been confirmed, expressed his joy: "This is a dream come true for me. Reaching MotoGP has always been my goal. I want to thank Yamaha for the trust they have shown me." He is currently focused on his Moto2 campaign, aiming to conclude the current chapter of his career in the best possible way.
