A racer-based CB1300SF, customized for the street, was displayed at the Yamamoto Racing booth at the Osaka Motorcycle Show held from March 21 to 23, 2025! Let's check out the customization, in which almost every part has been modified.
Street version of the Racer CB1300SF that was displayed at last year's CB Fan Meetup!

At the CB Fan Meetup held in Chiba Prefecture in April 2024, Yamamoto Racing exhibited a CB1300SF Custom, a project that started with the intention of displaying it at the Osaka Motorcycle Show in 2022. It was a racer-spec bike with a number of customizations including an under-tail dual exhaust and a completely self-made aluminum injection tank.

The model on display at the 2025 Osaka Motorcycle Show was a "street-legal" version of that CB1300SF racer. The base model is a 2003-07 CB1300SF, and the most impressive part is the under-tail dual exhaust, which is a "Spec-A", leading us to believe it is in accordance with Japanese street regulations.

A new paint job has been added to the aluminum tank, with the Honda wing logo on top of bright red paint. Two holes have been made in the upper part of the tail cowl, not for the exhaust ends, but to allow a peek at the one-off aluminum seat rail and silencer bracket inside.

As for the suspension, the rear is particularly distinctive, featuring a monoshock that is offset to accommodate the under-tail exhaust layout. The swingarm was fabricated from aluminum to match this style, and is a one-off part that is the same length as stock.

The machined aluminum throttle body is also a distinctive feature, which seems to have been carried over from the previous racer version. It is currently under development, and the day when it becomes a commercial product may not be far off.

The placard for this bike at the venue read, "Too many parts have been customized to list them all." We wonder if the day will come when tthis super-customized CB1300SF will actually be seen on the street.
