2%ER's SR400

This SR400 by 2%ER can be seen as a low-riding digger or a bobber. Since it is the shop owner's personal bike, he has been able to experiment with various modifications according to his own preferences. However, there is a significant concept behind this machine, which is the rear "plunger suspension". This suspension mechanism is exceptionally unique and was only used on a few models before World War II. Grease Motorcycle in Nagoya, Japan, has successfully recreated it, and the owner conducted a trial installation on his motorcycle with the goal of passing the official vehicle inspection. Grease was responsible for the frame modification, plunger suspension, and the application for the official vehicle inspection, while 2%ER handled everything else. As a result, they were able to pass the official vehicle inspections without any issues. This highly refined custom machine boasts a perfect styling and silhouette. It stands as a legitimate creation with a commanding presence, made possible by the reputation of both shops for their SR customization expertise.

Handle

16" wheels with springer forks. The tires are FUCKSTONE, giving it a vintage look.

Bodyworks

The fuel tank is a one-off gem, modified from the stock. A compact speedometer is equipped on the side.

The high-mount exhaust is of course a one-off. The GUN-KOTE finish creates a wild vibe. The carburetor is a CR carburetor, which suits the classical style.

The biggest highlight of this machine is the "plunger" used as the rear suspension. The frame was also machined by Grease Motorcycle.

Engine

The saddle seat is a one-off production. The genuine leather gives a nice taste.

Intake & Exhaust

The shop's original 5-inch ribbed fenders are mounted with brackets made to match the body. The tail lights are vintage Lucas.

Chassis

The handle is a one-off, welded to the springer fork. Since a jockey shift is installed, the handlebar area is simple.

The shop's original mid-high jockey shift kit with additional modifications. The specifications are tailored to match the bike body.
