TTR MOTORS' CB750F

HONDA CB750F Custom (Right Side)

The side covers marked with the “CB890F” logo reveal that this CB750F has been big bored to 890cc. The bike has also been repainted and given a full custom look, but surprisingly, this transformation happened only recently. We asked Mr. Hayashi from TTR Motors about the details: “As the logo suggests, the engine is now 890cc using WISECO 67.5mm pistons, something we had done before. The clutch has been converted to a hydraulic system, and a reinforced generator kit was also installed. The chassis, however, was originally built using CB400SF stock components. Later, when the owner decided on a flashy exterior, we also rebuilt the suspension, wheels, and related components to suit a bike of this class.”

In short, the bike has been updated and optimized. The front end was reworked with a NOBLEST ExM (Exchange Mode) package for the Zephyr 1100, combined with a Yasuda Shokai 43mm fork stem, creating a 17-inch setup. The rear uses an OVER Racing Type-10 swingarm originally for the XJR1300, specially custom-ordered with wide specs to fit a 190mm tire. The wheels are OZ Racing GASS RS-A, with a front wheel for the Zephyr 1100 and a rear wheel for the XJR1300.

The front and rear axles, along with the pivot shaft, were upgraded to chromoly. The pivot shaft ended up slightly longer, so Hayashi adjusted it and re-cut the threads to fit properly. Even as it was, it would have worked, but these refinements eliminate protrusions and create a cleaner look. These choices and precise adjustments are possible because Hayashi has extensive experience with CB-F models.

As for the eye-catching paintwork, the owner had it done by a painter, and it was installed when the chassis rebuild was completed. Despite its bold finish, it blends seamlessly with the bike. With the rear wide tire setup, matching the 17-inch conversion, and fine detailing, the bike achieves a sense of unity that only a shop deeply familiar with CB-Fs could deliver.
