Here is a "KAWASAKI ZX-6R" custom by Webike community user "J.P.P". The owner made the decision to get a ZX-6R when he was in his mid-forties, considering how much time he had left to ride his motorcycle in good health. The first step in customizing a motorcycle is to change the exhaust system, aiming to achieve a unique exhaust sound. The AKRAPOVIC JMCA Spec Slip-on Line Exhaust System features a carbon silencer, which is lighter than stock and also looks good. The exhaust is protected by a dry carbon SSK Exhaust Cover, which is much lighter and stronger than the stock steel exhaust cover. Furthermore, the back of the cover is equipped with a heat-resistant sheet to withstand the exhaust's heat. Dry carbon is entirely different from conventional wet carbon; it is produced using the latest carbon processing technology and boasts ultra-lightweight and ultra-strength characteristics. This material is also used in aircrafts, F1, supercars, MotoGP, and more. In order to eliminate the front brake shake and the discomfort transmitted to the lever, various improvements and adjustments were attempted, but nothing seemed to solve the problem. As a result, he switched to the BREMBO Super Sport Floating Disc Left & Right Set. This change successfully resolved the discomfort, making the front brake much easier to use. Paired with the BREMBO Radial Monoblock Caliper Kit M4 34/34 108mm Left/Right Set, it enables consistent braking performance, even on mountain passes, without the gradual loss of effectiveness experienced in the past. For the controls, the U-KANAYA Touring Type Aluminum Billet Lever Set was installed. The gripping portion has a gentle curved shape, making it comfortable to hold and preventing power loss when gripping the lever firmly. With minimal loss of gripping force, you won't experience hand or finger fatigue, even on long-distance rides such as long tours. The KAWASAKI Steering Damper Kit features a piston inside a cylinder filled with oil that moves in response to the steering's motion. It works effectively even in rough road conditions. As a result, the handlebar can be held more securely than before, making it easier to handle even at low speeds. A BABYFACE Frame Slider and Axle Protector are also used. The slider body is made of a hard material and employs a slippery Delrin resin when in contact with the road surface, making it slide easily. This helps prevent damage to the bike in the event of a fall. However, it's best not to have to rely on frame sliders at all. The exterior has been customized with the ACTIVE Fender Eliminator Kit, which enhances the rear styling's appearance and impact. It's made of aluminum, making it very lightweight. The KAWASAKI Single Seat Cover is an OEM single seat cover, so it offers a high level of fit and quality. The BABYFACE Rearsets also contribute to the visual impact. The knurled protrusions provide excellent grip by firmly engaging with shoes. The SSK Machined Aluminum Pillion Footpeg Racing Type is attractive in its simplicity. Its design is slim and follows a racing style.
