Wedge Motorcycle's SR400
Wedge Motorcycle has won awards at various custom shows for their creative customization sense, and has established an important position in the SR400/500 custom scene. One of the store's characteristics is their simple styling that removes excess parts to the utmost limit, and the machine introduced here demonstrates the store's strengths to the fullest. This machine has been customized in a scrambler style. Looking at the various parts of the machine, you can see that the unnecessary parts were thoroughly eliminated in order to create the styling, such as the ska-tuning under the seat and the wiring through the handlebars. In addition, various parts such as lights were replaced with smaller ones, and the rear frame was looped to make the original simple styling of the SR look even simpler and more compact. The coloring of the fuel tank and the brown seat give it a retro look, and the stylish coloring sense is still there. This machine was carefully crafted down to the smallest detail with the owner's long-term use in mind. It is not flashy, but it is easy to ride and you will not get tired of it even if you ride it everyday. In fact, because of its simplicity, the more you ride it, the more you get the taste of it. It is truly a machine that deserves to be called a daily partner.
Handle
The handlebars have been converted to MX bars. In addition to the standard mini-switches, the wiring is routed inside the handlebars for an extremely clean look around the handlebars.
Electrical
The Bates light headlight gives the bike a traditional look. Its small size matches the machine.
Bodyworks
The fuel tank is stock, but the mounting position has been modified to make the machine look more compact. The pop coloring, typical of Wedge, is also noteworthy.
The thick, Scrambler-like seat is a one-off. The color brown was chosen to create a retro vibe.
Engine
The not-too-mechanical CR carburetor blends in beautifully with the machine without disturbing the overall styling.
Intake & Exhaust
The exhaust is made of stainless steel and the silencer is a 3-inch SuperTrapp. The short size makes the machine look more compact and light.
Chassis
The steps are converted to foot pegs, as is typical of dirt style customization. It enhances the completeness of the machine.
