Based on Yamaha's authentic Ténéré 700 adventure with CP2 engine, the 2026 Ténéré 700 World Raid model is now available for more challenging and longer rides. New premium components and the latest technology take the Dakar-born long-distance adventure tourer to new heights.

Lightweight and equipped with high-capacity dual tanks
The Ténéré 700 World Raid's most distinctive feature is its large dual fuel tanks, which consist of two aluminum fuel tanks connected on either side. This new fuel tank has a capacity of 23 liters, 7 liters more than the Ténéré 700, yet weighs 1.5 kg less than the previous model and has a range of approximately 500 km. To enhance comfort when cruising on highways, the 2026 Ténéré 700 World Raid is newly equipped with cruise control (adjustable in 1 km/h and 10 km/h increments from 3rd gear onward) and a speed limiter to facilitate compliance with speed limits. In addition to these improvements, a newly designed windscreen that further enhances rider comfort and easily removable side deflectors provide high weather protection to make adventures more enjoyable in all weather conditions. New LED headlight assemblies provide superior illumination performance in both low and high beams. The headlight height can be easily adjusted with a single screw under the TFT meter.

The Ténéré 700 World Raid is a full-fledged rally model that combines high off-road performance with long-distance driving.

The fuel tank is split into left and right sections, so there are two fueling ports. A new type of steering damper is also installed.
YCC-T and two power modes
To maximize the power of the CP2 engine, the Ténéré 700 World Raid eliminates the throttle cable and uses the YCC-T (Yamaha Chip Control Throttle), which offers two power modes: "Sport" mode for thrilling road riding and "Sport" mode for dynamic power delivery. It delivers dynamic power delivery, while the "Explorer" mode provides smoother throttle response when riding in off-road sections and on wet surfaces. Riders can use the "mode" switch on the right handlebar to switch between power modes while riding with the throttle closed. A 6-axis IMU is installed to constantly measure acceleration and angular velocity in the pitch, roll, and yaw directions to calculate the forces acting on the bike. This data works in sync with the machine's lean-sensitive traction control system (TCS), slide control system (SCS), and ABS/brake control system to assist novice and inexperienced riders, while more experienced riders can use the control and comfort to get the most out of their machine. The ABS/brake control also has a dedicated button for selecting the ABS mode, and when ABS is turned "on," brake control is activated and cornering ABS is activated. In addition, the off-road-specific "REAR OFF" and "OFF" modes lock the rear or both wheels for complete off-road control. The transmission has also been improved, with smoother gearshifts: the number of convex and concave dogs in first through third gears has been increased from five to six, and the dog angles in fourth through sixth gears have been modified to respond more smoothly to throttle opening and closing. Gear ratios and final ratios remain unchanged to maintain dual-purpose performance and comfort, but the Ténéré 700 World Raid can now be equipped with an optional up/down quickshifter.

The CP2 engine, combined with electronic equipment such as YCC-T, 6-axis IMU, and TCS, provides high driving performance in a variety of situations.
High-performance suspension and steering damper
The chassis of the Ténéré 700 World Raid has been redesigned to handle harder riding. The front is equipped with a newly designed high-quality aluminum triple clamp for optimum rigidity and an inverted fork with a larger inner tube diameter of 46 mm instead of 43 mm. Kashima coating minimizes friction and wear, and revised spring and damping specifications improve shock absorption and tire ground contact for increased rider comfort and security. A preload adjuster is also provided on the top of the fork tube. The rear KYB fully-adjustable link-type monocross rear suspension has also been upgraded, with increased shock stroke (+5mm to 106mm) for better performance in extreme off-road riding conditions. Specially designed arm relays and connecting rods contribute to more progressive suspension characteristics. Aluminum cylinders are lightweight and ensure excellent heat dissipation, and piggyback reservoir tanks extend oil capacity to allow the dampers to deliver superior performance in all conditions. The oil chamber is pressurized to prevent negative pressure caused by air bubbles during shock absorber extension. The Ténéré 700 World Raid has 230 mm front and 220 mm rear wheel travel, 20 mm longer at the front and rear, respectively, than the standard Ténéré 700. It also has a minimum ground clearance of 255 mm, measured at the engine guard, 15 mm higher than the Ténéré 700. A newly designed 16-step adjustable steering damper provides the rider with a wide range of feel and feedback, and adjustable damping provides more support when riding off-road. When riding over rough terrain or encountering strong crosswinds, the impact transmitted to the handlebars is more gentle, increasing rider comfort and confidence and reducing fatigue on long-distance adventure trips. The frame is the same newly developed lightweight tubular steel backbone/double cradle frame shared with the Ténéré 700, but the rear subframe is designed as part of the main frame, allowing for the attachment of accessories such as top cases and lateral aluminum carriers. The muffler bracket and backstays have been reinforced, and the carrier mounting bosses have been evolved to be through-hole type for increased robustness.

The suspension has been revised and wheel travel is 20 mm longer at the front and rear, respectively, than on the Ténéré 700.
6.Equipped with a 3-inch full-color vertical TFT display
The new line of integrated rally seats on the Ténéré 700 World Raid and redesigned rugged side protectors are highly functional, offering superior ergonomics and rider mobility, as well as a strong, tough, modern rally silhouette and proportions. The new rally silhouette and proportions are strong, tough, and modern. The cockpit has been significantly updated and features a newly designed 6.3-inch full-color TFT display. This premium display is a portrait-mounted design that provides maximum visibility whether the rider is seated or standing. The display offers three themes, "STREET," "EXPLORER," and "RAID," to focus on specific information for different riding styles and environments. All themes are designed to display important information such as speed, engine RPM, fuel level, average fuel consumption, gear shift indicator, water temperature, outside temperature, ODO, trip meter, and time. Available in two color schemes, Redline White and Midnight Black, the new model will be released in Europe in a phased manner, but its introduction in Japan has not yet been decided.

Designed to support riders in a wide range of stages, from on-road to full-blown off-road, each part is full of functional beauty.

Equipped with a 6.3-inch full-color vertical TFT display that could be mistaken for a tablet. It can be changed from three different themes to suit different scenes.

The left switch box can be used to mount a joystick for operating the gauges and a switch for operating the cruise control.
