Bagus!'s ZEPHYR1100

The Zephyr 1100 has an imposing style, big-bike-like torque, and performance that suits various situations. As an air-cooled naked model with a carburetor, the Zephyr 1100 can be customized in a wide range of ways, including weight reduction and front 17-inch conversion. This Zephyr 1100 has been modified part by part over the past 10 years while enjoying the changes at each stage, and was recently completed. "The owner originally rode a Zephyr 400, which also had the same red-and-white Fireball pattern. He later switched to an 1100, and we carried over those colors to the frame and exterior," says Mr. Tsuchiya of Bagus! Motorcycle, who has been working on this machine.

"The engine was upgraded from the stock 1062 to 1135cc. The wheels were originally stock 17-inch front and rear, but they were leaking air, so we replaced them with forged aluminum wheels. The work progressed in a systematic manner, involving trying, checking, and moving on to the next step. The tachometer was swapped for a STACK, and later the speedometer was also replaced with a STACK model. The long-awaited Wheelie swingarm was installed, and now the bike is complete." Making the bike lighter not only makes it easier to handle but also enhances the quality of the ride and improves its appearance. Additionally, it allows the rider to enjoy the extra power that the 1100 offers, marking a key achievement in the modifications made to the Zephyr 1100 at Bagus! Handle

For gauges, STACK meters are installed in the stock case. The tachometer is a STACK ST200, and the speedometer is a STACK ST-3852, which also features a distance meter display function. The stem is a Shabon Dama 35mm offset (stock is 40mm) wing type, and RISE clip-on HIGH handlebars are equipped. The left and right master cylinders are Brembo RCS.

Bodyworks

The exterior is painted in white and red, resembling a combination of the Tiger and Fireball patterns (with wrap coating between the lines), rather than being a literal reproduction of the Fireball pattern motif.

Engine

The engine has been rebuilt from the very beginning and has been converted to 1135cc with JE φ76mm forged pistons. The case covers are made by Wheelie.

The oil cooler is an Active round type for better cooling. The cooler core guard with different mesh density is by Wheelie.

Intake & Exhaust

The carburetor is FCR φ37mm combined with a full titanium exhaust from Bagus! The breather cover is made by Shabon Dama.

Chassis

The frame is painted red and the pivot plate is finished in black. The clutch release is replaced with a POSH FAITH 2-piece type. For the steps, Striker was chosen.

The front forks are Ohlins RWU and the front brakes are Brembo 484 Cafe Racer calipers + Sunstar Premium Racing Discs.

Rear brakes are Brembo GP2-SSCNC 2P calipers with Sunstar Premium Racing Discs. The rear shocks are mounted with Ohlins Full Adjustable Shocks.

The swingarm is a Wheelie 7N01 and the wheels are Lavorante Legenda 3.50-17/6.00-17 size. The rear tires are 180/60 size. The drive chain is EK's ThreeD.
