【Europe Announcement】2027 Model "Eliminator 500" and "KLE500" Debut with 451cc Engine

Kawasaki has announced the 2027 models of the "Eliminator 500" and "KLE500" in Europe. While sharing a common 451cc parallel-twin engine, two models with distinct cruiser and adventure styles will be offered.

Japanese Spec Eliminator's Candy Green Appears in Europe Too

Kawasaki has announced the 2027 models of the "Eliminator 500" and "KLE500" for the European market. Both models share the 451cc parallel-twin engine based on the Ninja500, but are designed with completely different styling and purposes. They comply with Europe's A2 license (which restricts vehicle power to 35kW (approx. 47.6PS) or less), targeting a wide range of riders.

The Eliminator 500, which takes on the middleweight cruiser segment, is the overseas version of the popular Eliminator (400) in Japan. It features a high-tensile steel trellis frame combined with 18-inch front and 16-inch rear wheels. The engine ensures ease of handling in urban areas with rich torque from low RPMs, while also providing linear response on highways. In addition to the STD grade, a higher-spec SE model is also available, equipped with a headlight cowl, fork boots, and a USB-C port.

There are a total of 4 color variations: 2 for the STD and 2 for the SE. Incidentally, the 2027 model of the Japanese spec Eliminator (400) has also been announced, but the Ebony for the 500 STD is common with the Japanese spec, and the Red/Ebony is a color not introduced in Japan. The SE's Gray/Ebony is also available for the Japanese spec SE, and the Candy Green is the same color as the cowl-less "Plaza Edition".

KLE500 Features 3 Colors for the Higher-Spec SE

Meanwhile, the KLE500 is an adventure model with rally-inspired styling reminiscent of its predecessor. It features a high-tensile steel trellis frame, a 16-liter fuel tank, and 21-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels. The suspension, boasting the best wheel travel in its class, includes KYB cartridge-type inverted front forks that work in conjunction with the rear Uni-Trak suspension to handle everything from unpaved roads to long-distance touring.

The KLE500 also offers a higher-spec SE model, which comes standard with LED indicators, a large screen, a large aluminum bash plate, TFT meter, and reinforced handguards.

There are a total of 4 color variations: 1 for the STD and 3 for the SE. The introduction of the KLE500 to the Japanese market in Spring 2027 has been confirmed, but details regarding color variations and other aspects await further announcements.
