Here is a "HONDA GROM (MSX125)" custom by Webike community user "AG". HONDA's Grom is a compact roadster in the tradition of the Monkey and Dax models that have been popular for more than 50 years. The owner was looking for a 12-inch sports model to practice on the racetrack and decided on this Thailand-spec JC92 GROM. According to the owner, it is extremely fuel-efficient, with 60km/L to 70km/L on ordinary roads. It is also suitable for commuting to work, school, and touring, as it has a cruising range of 300km with plenty of room to spare. It can also be ramped up for racetrack riding by changing out the exhaust and steps, and the owner is currently enjoying trips to his local mini-circuit. The exhaust was replaced with a WirusWin Atomic Twin Full Exhaust. This dual exhaust has slightly short and thin twin silencers to best match the GROM's style. A racing rearset kit by MORIWAKI ENGINEERING was installed for the steps, and i-FACTORY handlebars along with a ZETA bar rise kit were also installed for improved handling on the track. The suspension boasts a high-performance rear shock absorber by YSS Thailand, a high efficiency gas shock absorber that can be adjusted according to the user. The engine is equipped with i-FACTORY reinforced clutch springs, so the clutch feels better and does not slip. No doubt the owner will continue to enjoy touring and riding the track with this custom GROM.
