1,105 cc Specs For Proper Power Delivery: Z2 Custom

Custom Shop B's Z2(750RS)

This Z2 was exhibited at an event focusing on Kawasaki's air-cooled Z series, and its specifications are very spirited. The engine is 1,105cc spec with Wiseco pistons and Yoshimura ST-1 camshafts. Port polishing and valve seat cutting were also added. To ensure efficient combustion and proper output from the larger displacement engine, the intake and exhaust system has Yoshimura FCR-MJN 35mm and Moriwaki Engineering Titan Monster Racing.

To cope with the high power output, the suspension has been modernized and updated. Ohlins front forks and Quantum rear shocks were selected to ensure a high level of gap absorption and road-following performance. The supporting brackets and swingarm were also changed to products by GILD DESIGN and PMC, respectively, to ensure sufficient rigidity. In addition, both the front and rear wheels are forged Marchesini 17-inch aluminum wheels, further enhancing the machine's 17-inch capability. In addition to such capabilities, a high level of quality as a custom machine was also pursued. While the color is mainly black, care was also taken in the choice of parts to create a contrast with the gold and red colors. The finish is not so gorgeous, but enough to attract attention.

Electrical

The headlight combines a multi-reflector with SYGN HOUSE's LED Ribbon REVO bulb to dramatically improve nighttime visibility. It also provide better visibility and increased safety when riding.

Around the gauges, it looked as if only DAYTONA's AQUAPROVA had been added to the handlebar post, but upon closer inspection, the panel has been changed to carbon for a subtle differentiation.

Engine

Yoshimura's FCR-MJN carburetor, which covers the entire rpm range from low to high. Its funnels are also carefully set up to maximize power by optimizing combustion efficiency. Three types of dual-stack funnels are available, but red is selected to match the body caps.

Bodyworks

The paint job was done by Custom Shop B. The black color was varied by adding gold pearls, and the gold lines were accented with wrap painting used marblizer.

Intake & Exhaust

For the exhaust system, Moriwaki's Titanium Monster Racing is installed. The Monaka silencer, which suits the air-cooled Z well, has been a constant motif since the 80s. Optimal exhaust efficiency is pursued together with the intake system.

Chassis

The rearsets are made by Woodstock, which is a simple design but with ability gained from the racing scene, and are manufactured with consideration for position, maneuverability, and rigidity in the event of a fall.

PMC swingarm contributes to the high rigidity of the rear section, and the left side of the chassis is machined on the inside to secure the chainline in order to accommodate 5.50 size tires.

Brembo racing calipers and SUNSTAR brake disc rotors are combined for first-class stopping power. They chosen Marchesini forged aluminum front and rear wheels for weight reduction.
