Overseas: New "DUKE" series announced for 2026, with color changes from 125 to 1390, and a renewed image!

KTM has announced the 2026 DUKE series overseas. The DUKE series will be the "most complete naked lineup ever" with an advanced design, equipment, and performance, covering everything from lightweight to hyper-naked models. The lineup covers a wide range of riders, from small-displacement models designed for city riding to top-of-the-line models boasting overwhelming power. Although the Japanese launch schedule for these models has not yet been announced, we would like to take a look at the lineup as soon as possible.

Strengthening the entry to middle class. Improved lightweight DUKE perfection

For the 2026 model year, improvements have been made to the lightweight class, including the 125 DUKE, which now features a new color scheme, optimized fuel delivery, and improved top speed. Features such as an electronic throttle, antilock braking system for cornering, and a 5-inch TFT display remain standard, maintaining a high equipment level for an entry-level model. The 160 DUKE and 200 DUKE, which are not yet available in Japan, are each available in several new color variations. The 250 DUKE, while taking advantage of recent design changes, has a stronger presence with new colors, making it an option for those who value a balance between lightness and performance. The 390DUKE maintains its position as the centerpiece model in the lightweight class, while the 2026 model features new brake calipers aimed at improving braking power. Together with the addition of new colors, the model has evolved to offer a high level of both everyday and sporting performance.

Large DUKE also changes color 990DUKE: "R" now available

The middle class lineup includes the 790DUKE and 990DUKE. 790DUKE is characterized by agile handling and the ease of use of its parallel two-cylinder engine, and features the latest generation TFT display and controls. It is positioned as a versatile naked model that can be used for everything from everyday to sport riding. The 990DUKE, also not yet introduced in Japan, is equipped with a higher output engine and advanced electronic controls, and aims for performance beyond the middle class. The higher-end 990 DUKE R is the mass-produced version of the model that was presented at EICMA, and features driving-specific equipment such as a large 8.8-inch touchscreen TFT and fully adjustable suspension. At the top of the series are the 1390 SUPER DUKE R and 1390 SUPER DUKE R EVO. The EVO is equipped with semi-active suspension and other features for high riding stability in response to road conditions.

The large DUKE series offers a lineup of 790cc to 1390cc models; the 990 DUKE R is a higher-end model not yet introduced in Japan.

The DUKE series is popular for its aggressive driving performance, and we look forward to the introduction of the 2026 model in Japan.
