Suzuki Thailand revealed a shocking new style off-road model on SNS on March 26. Its name is the DR-Z RALLY 4S. It is the DR-Z4S, the largest displacement off-road machine currently available, equipped with full-scale rally raid equipment!
Suzuki official! Exhibited at the Bangkok International Motor Show Plans for commercialization!
Suzuki's DR-Z4S, which will be introduced in Japan in the fall of 2025, is a big off-roader that is a revival of the DR-Z400S, which was sold until 2009 and has been renewed after more than 15 years. While the naming and basic engine design are inherited from the former "DR-Z," almost all parts have been newly designed, including FI, electronic throttle control, S.I.R.S. driving mode switching, LED lights and KYB forks, and other features that make it suitable for the latest off-road specifications. The DR-X is a rebirth of the DR-X. Currently, there is no 400cc or larger off-road model in the lineup of Japanese manufacturers that can match the DR-Z4S, and the DR-Z4S is highly regarded by off-road enthusiasts for its power. The DR-Z4S has been shown in a new specification video at Suzuki Thailand, where Suzuki operates in Southeast Asia. This is a promotion for the "Bangkok International Motor Show" posted on SNS, and is an announcement of Suzuki's participation in Thailand's largest motorcycle event, which will be held for 11 days from March 25 to April 5, 2026. The machine featured here is a standard DR-Z4S body with a hard rally tower and a large screen. The name of the machine is said to be the "DR-Z RALLY 4S," and the actual machine will be displayed at the show.
Based on the DR-Z4S, one of the most powerful off-road models currently on sale in Japan since last fall.
While details of its specifications are unknown, the first thing that catches the eye is the front mask, which is completely different from the standard one. The dual headlights are mounted vertically, with additional monitors above and below behind the towers, and the blinkers have been changed to larger ones. The metal covers on the left and right sides of the headlights are engraved with the logo of Suzuki Moto Sales Corporation (SMCT), Suzuki's distributor in Thailand. The suspension has been changed to Öhlins, and a brake disc guard and rear carrier have been added. The body is equipped with a brake disc guard, rear carrier, and other detail parts, and is fully equipped for hard off-road riding. It is truly a "full-fledged rally specification.
The front mask is completely identical to the STD. I wonder if the projector lenses are still the same?
At this point, the only official information available is this video, so there is no word on whether the DR-Z RALLY 4S will be marketed commercially, or whether it will be available overseas. However, its unique style and practical details make it a must-see for many rally style fans. Stay tuned for more information!
