ARAI, a world-class domestic helmet manufacturer, launched the RAPIDE-NEO in 2019 as a full-face model that fits well with neo-retro sports. As the name suggests, the model is based on the silhouette of the RAPIDE, which was popular in the 1980s, and incorporates modern safety, aerodynamics, and comfort. Its distinctive rounded silhouette and slit that asserts its presence are in a style that suits not only modern motorcycles but also vintage models. For this reason, it has gained wide popularity among riders of all ages and types of machines, and many special models in collaboration with designers and brands have also been released. This time, a new collaboration model with Kawasaki has been announced. The "Kawasaki x Arai RAPIDE NEO Z900RS SE Model" features special graphics with a bold design in the fireball color (metallic spark black) of the new 2026 Z900RS SE, which is about to go on sale. The rear of the model also features a capital letter "KAWASAKI" emblem, symbolizing old Kawasaki, in a style that will appeal to Kawasaki fans from all directions. The fireball color scheme was used on the first generation Z1 and Z2, and has become one of the most popular colors in the series. The Z900RS/Z650RS, which will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Z1 in 2023, will also return the fireball color, making it a special color for Z fans.
