Two "world premiere" models were finally unveiled at the Kawasaki booth at the "Japan Mobility Show 2025" being held at Tokyo Big Sight from today. They are the new Z900RS SE and the new Z900RS CAFE in retro colors!
The launch was in February! The new Z900RS finally arrives with super-strengthened electric system & the "SE" comes standard with a driver's license recorder!
Among the motorcycles to be exhibited by Kawasaki at this year's Mobility Show, two "world premiere" models that had not been revealed were unveiled at the same time. As predicted in advance, the new "Z900RS," which has undergone an update, made its debut! While its appearance was largely the same as before, the Z900RS was given enhanced electrical systems (electronic throttle, cruise control, IMU, smartphone connectivity, etc.) to increase its competitiveness as a popular model. Like the previously updated Z900, it also features a quick shifter.
Finally, the new "Z900RS SE" fireball color makes its first appearance on the SE!
While the styling remains largely unchanged, it has received major updates, mainly in terms of electronic control.
The first model to be equipped with a driver's camera, making it more appealing as a touring machine!

In addition to the driverless camera, a USB power port is standard.
The position has been revised, with a lower, sportier steering wheel.
The gauges are the same as before, with two bullet-shaped analog eyes. It will also be interesting to see what kind of smartphone linkage functionality is available.
The seats in the SE have also been improved, with different urethane for greater comfort.
The color is black metallic and dark orange, which is said to be different from the traditional fireball.
The engine also looks the same on the outside, but the exhaust system has been redesigned to comply with EURO5+. A new sensor has been built behind the assembly.
Priced at 1,837,000 yen, a price increase of 130,000 yen+ from the SE. It will go on sale in February 2026!
The 2-stroke did not show up! But instead, the rainbow-colored "Z900RS CAFE" with "Mach III" adopted appeared!
Another model is the "Z900RS CAFE" with a bikini cowl. This model has the same specifications as the new STD model, but with no changes in equipment. However, what is noteworthy is the rainbow color painted in black and silver, a color that is familiar to the "Mach" brand. Of course, the tank logo is "KAWASAKI" in capital letters, a fresh look for fans of new cars, and of course, for fans of old cars who can recognize the original! I wonder if the graphics of the Mach series will be reproduced in the future! The price is 1,540,000 yen, up only 22,000 yen from the previous price of 1,518,000 yen.
The other vehicle is the Z900RS CAFE. What a new rainbow color, familiar from Mach!
Pinstripes and a capital letter logo are painted in silver on a black-based body.
The CAFE features a "DOHC" emblem on the generator cover. This is also a must for fans of old cars.
