KTM Japan has announced the 2026 model of the Husqvarna Vitpilen 801. This model, continuing from the 2025 model, is a popular sport naked that excels in its fusion of innovative design and advanced features.

Unique Design and User-Friendly Power Unit

Vitpilen 801 (2026) Debuted last year, this uniquely shaped sport naked is notable for its distinctive style, which is not retro despite the round headlight.

The most distinctive feature of the Vitpilen 801 is its face design, which combines an LED projector lens headlight with an LED light ring, creating an instantly recognizable and strong personality. The body, styled with a modern interpretation of the cafe racer aesthetic, is constructed as a truly unique and one-of-a-kind model.

The engine is a 799cc DOHC parallel-twin. While prioritizing ease of use across the entire rev range, it delivers a maximum output of 105 hp and a maximum torque of 87 Nm, making it adept at sporty riding. Its responsive throttle control makes it versatile for everything from daily commuting to touring.

The frame is a diamond type that incorporates the engine as a stressed member for weight and size reduction, utilizing chrome-molybdenum steel. This allows for a compact engine front-to-back length and a relatively long swingarm, which transmits the bike's movements to the rider more effectively and contributes to stable handling during sporty riding. The WP APEX suspension further enhances the riding experience, allowing riders to enjoy high performance tailored to various riding scenarios.

Equipped with advanced features, including Ride Modes, Traction Control, and aggressive anti-wheelie and MSR for precise control.

The Vitpilen 801's appeal also lies in its cutting-edge electronic control features. It comes standard with "Street/Sport/Rain" Ride Modes, Easy Shift (quickshifter), Motorcycle Traction Control, Cruise Control, and Cornering ABS. Optional features include an Anti-Wheelie Mode and MSR (Motor Slip Regulation). These functions can be managed centrally via the 5-inch TFT dashboard.

Furthermore, it offers extensive connectivity through the "Ride Husqvarna Motorcycles" smartphone app, allowing for phone and music control. The model also comes with a "Premium Manufacturer Warranty" of up to 4 years, providing peace of mind after purchase.
