BULL DOCK's Z1(900 SUPER4)

"A customer who already owned a Complete Custom Zephyr 1100 from our shop asked us to build it to the specifications he wants as his last bike." Bull Dock's Mr.Wakui explains this Z1. The order also included "working on everything" and "making it look similar to the Zephyr 1100 complete (with a bikini cowl) that he currently owns".

As for the first order, there is no problem because the Bull Dock-made complete custom GT-M (Genuine Tuning Machine) will always be worked on from the frame to the engine, and, of course, every detail. This bike also underwent a thorough menu of frame inspection and reconstruction, in-house internal combustion engine modification, and connecting both parts in the correct position. As for the second order, GT-M has many examples of Zephyr 1100 production, so there was no problem in projecting the balance of its looks onto the Z. Mr. Wakui has been working with the Zephyr for a long time, and this balanced arrangement is one of the major advantages of the GT-M. The frame, which smoothly drops from the neck and rises up to the seat, expresses the neat finish of 17-inch front and rear, as mentioned above. The engine, which has been converted to a 1200cc with forged pistons from Pistol Racing and an in-house machining, is equipped with a 6-speed cross transmission, and like all GT-Ms, has been designed for easy handling and durability. Therefore, it is easy to maintain as long as regular maintenance is carried out. The low sporty styling is pleasing to the eye and satisfying to own. When you start the engine and ride the bike, you can enjoy a smooth ride utilizing the torque from the aforementioned displacement and settings, as well as the front and rear suspension settings and position settings. Knowing that the Z will have this kind of build quality makes one want to make it one's last bike. This is not surprising.

Handle

The bikini cowl nicely fits the overall styling, and the aluminum tank with the advantage of being lightweight and rust-resistant is by McCoy. The mirrors are Magical Racing NK-1 Mirror Type 1 Head. The left and right masters are Brembo RCS, which provide a reliable feel and good touch.

The stem kit for upright φ43mm with 17-inch optimal specs and clip-on handlebars are also by McCoy. The meters consist of a one-off carbon panel with a STACK ST200 Engine Tachometer in the center, a Moto Gadget Moto Scope Mini Speedometer on the lower left, and a Yoshimura Progress Meter on the lower right. The HYPERPRO Steering Damper is placed horizontally on the top bridge.

Bodyworks

The double-type seat has been replaced with a McCoy Supreme Seat. By carefully examining the padding and upholstery, fatigue is reduced and hip grip is improved, allowing for more aggressive riding.

Engine

The engine, which uses McCoy billets for every cover, has been converted to a 1200cc engine with Pistol Racing φ76 forged pistons, a McCoy 6-speed cross transmission, outboard and offset sprockets, etc. The frame has been modified in accordance with the GT-M theory, with the crankshaft as the reference.

The carburetor is equipped with a TMR-MJN φ36mm in funnel specifications. The oil cooler lines are routed from the rear of the cylinder to the top to create a sleek appearance.

Chassis

The rigid and compact machined aluminum one-position steps are by McCoy, which allows for easy handling and reduces fatigue. An under cowl is also installed.

Front forks are McCoy x Nitron with a carbon front fender. The front brakes are Brembo GP4RX calipers + McCoy x Sunstar collaboration ø320mm discs.

The rear brakes are Brembo GP2-SS Caliper + Sunstar Works Expand disc. The swingarm is McCoy and made of 7N01 material. The exhaust system is a titanium 4-1 (internal 4-2-1 construction) WinMcCoy Full Exhaust.

The rear shocks are also McCoy x Nitron, with black selected to balance out the overall tone. The wheels are forged aluminum Lavorante Leggenda in black, 3.50-17/6.00-17 size. The black plate and gold pin drive chain is RK's 520XXW.
