Suzuki GB has announced that its motorcycle sales performance in 2026 increased by over 1,000 units compared to the same period last year, achieving a 62% year-on-year increase. Price reductions across 13 models, lineup expansion, and a service warranty of up to 10 years appear to be driving sales.

Significant Price Adjustments and Lineup Expansion Boost Sales

Based on the strategic plan formulated earlier this year, Suzuki GB has been implementing measures primarily focused on its on-road models. Notably, significant price revisions have been made to 13 models, with the GSX-S1000GX+ seeing a reduction of approximately £3,000 (about £640,000) from its on-the-road price. Additionally, the newly introduced retro model, the GSX-8T/8TT, has also been discounted by £1,000 (about £210,000).

Alongside this, the company has been promoting lineup expansion. The 800cc parallel-twin engine introduced in 2023 is now available in six models. Furthermore, the company explains that the return of the GSX-R1000R to the lineup, along with the new SV-7GX, the 125cc models, and the scooter range, are broadening customer choices, in addition to the DR-Z4S and DR-Z4SM.

Another factor contributing to the sales increase is the introduction of an industry-leading service warranty of up to 10 years. The company emphasizes that this comprehensive after-sales support system creates an environment where users can purchase with confidence. They are also promoting the durability, quality of construction, and riding enjoyment of their products under the new slogan "Serious.Fun."

By model, the GSX-S1000 led the pack with 326 units sold, followed by the GSX-S1000GX+, the 125cc scooters, the GSX-R125, and the GSX-S125, all showing year-on-year growth. Paul de Lusignan, Suzuki GB's Motorcycle Director, stated that the combination of a clear strategy, price restructuring, and marketing initiatives has already yielded results.
