Moriwaki has released the "HEEL GUARD, PLATE," an optional part exclusively for the back step kit of the Honda "CBR600RR" ('21-). This functional component stabilizes foot position during riding and enhances the sense of unity with the motorcycle. It is available in two colors: black and silver.

A Functional and Beautiful Design Born from Truss Structure and Machining

Moriwaki has released the "HEEL GUARD, PLATE," an optional part exclusively for the back step kit of the Honda "CBR600RR" ('21-). This item is an optional part designed exclusively for the company's "CBR600RR BACK STEP KIT." It not only prevents the heel from contacting the frame but also serves to stabilize the foot's position by naturally resting the heel during riding. Combined with knee grip, it enhances the sense of unity with the motorcycle.

The design employs a truss structure combining two triangles. One side features bold cutouts, while the other incorporates precise pocket machining, aiming to achieve both high rigidity and weight reduction. The company explains that it pursues a sculptural beauty, like an art piece milled from an aluminum block, with a texture unique to machined parts.

Furthermore, the pocket area features uniform cutting lines created by ball milling, resulting in a delicate finish that changes its appearance depending on the angle of light. The MORIWAKI logo is laser-engraved on the surface, adding a premium feel.

This product was developed to enhance operability and stability during sports riding. By holding the heel in the proper position, it supports body control during cornering and smooth weight transfer when switching between left and right turns. Even at deep banking angles, the foot position remains stable, contributing to improved accuracy in brake and shift operations.

The compatible model is the Honda CBR600RR from 2021 onwards, equipped with the Moriwaki back step kit. Two color variations are available to match the back step unit: black and silver. The price is 8,800 yen (tax included).
