Kawasaki Motors Europe has announced the 2027 model of its mid-size adventure model, the "Versys 650". It is equipped with a 649cc parallel-twin engine and features traction control and smartphone connectivity.
Two Color Schemes Available
The "Versys 650" is a mid-size adventure model that emphasizes comfort on-road and sporty riding. It features a slim trellis frame and a 649cc parallel-twin engine that emphasizes low to mid-range torque.
The suspension system utilizes long-travel front forks and offset laydown rear suspension, combined with 17-inch wheels front and rear, to provide excellent ground feel and feedback on a wide range of road surfaces.
Equipment includes LED lighting and a 4-way adjustable screen. It also features Kawasaki's advanced traction control system (KTRC), which can be selected from two modes depending on road conditions. The meter is a 4.3-inch TFT color LCD, and smartphone connectivity is available through the "Rideology App". A 35kW A2 license-compliant model will also be available for the European market.
The 2027 model will be available in the following two color variations. At this time, the domestic Japanese release of this model has not been announced.
