Vespa Announces Limited Edition "Edizione Ottantesimo" Model for 80th Anniversary, Limited to 1,946 Units

Vespa has announced the special edition model "Vespa Edizione Ottantesimo" to commemorate the brand's 80th anniversary. Based on the GTS 310, it will be a limited production of 1,946 units, commemorating the founding year of 1946.

Fusion of Traditional Steel Body and Modern Technology

The "Vespa Edizione Ottantesimo" features a design that emphasizes Vespa's iconic steel monocoque body. The body color has a finish that highlights the texture of the material itself, blending the robustness of traditional steel with modern, sophisticated details.

The suspension and saddle are finished in a special green reminiscent of early models. It is equipped with a comfortable seat that can accommodate two people, while also featuring a removable hard cover to create a single-seat look. The wheels adopt a design that reinterprets the "Vespa 98" from 1946, with a diamond-cut finish.

The side panels feature "80" graphics inspired by bolt shapes, symbolizing manual craftsmanship. Furthermore, a commemorative plate with a serial number is mounted under the seat, and a dedicated matte gray finished jet helmet is also included.

High Performance and Full Equipment Based on GTS 310

In terms of technology, it is based on the "Vespa GTS 310" series and is equipped with a 310cc HPE engine that delivers 25 horsepower, the most powerful in Vespa's history. It comes standard with full LED lights and a 5-inch color TFT display, and is compatible with the "VESPA MIA" connectivity system.

Features to enhance convenience and safety include a keyless system and courtesy lights at the rear and under the seat. For riding safety, electronic traction control (ASR) and an anti-lock braking system (ABS) are also standard.
