The day has come to roar once again! OVER Racing's SESMIC-IV 3-1 Full Exhaust for the XSR900 GP is finally on sale!

The SESMIC-IV 3-1 Full Exhaust for the Yamaha XSR900 GP is now available from OVER Racing. Due to the stock exhaust layout, it was not possible to develop a slip-on which just replaces the silencer, but was necessary to create a full exhaust. Therefore, it has taken some time to develop this exhaust, but now OVER Racing has finally released their well-known masterpiece for the XSR900 GP.

OVER Racing's "SESMIC" Exhausts

Many people who rode in the 1980's and 90's may remember OVER Racing's beautiful aluminum silencers, and may even have installed them on their own bikes. Nowadays, mainstream silencers for high-spec machines are made of materials such as stainless steel or titanium, but in those days, aluminum was the most common material. SESMIC exhausts have aluminum silencers that still retain the look and feel of those days. The beautiful welding marks on these exhausts, carefully made one by one by OVER Racing's skilled craftsmen, show their pride in manufacturing that is still evident today.

OVER Racing SESMIC-IV

Compared to the previous models in the SESMIC series, the SESMIC-IV is the latest model with a new exhaust pipe and silencer internal structure based on technology developed through experience in the Suzuka 8 Hours Endurance Road Race and other races. Currently, the lineup is only available for some models, such as the Z900RS, KATANA, and XSR900 (RN56J).

OVER Racing's SESMIC-IV is now also available for the XSR900 GP, which Yamaha released in 2024. With an exhaust layout that matches the bike and a special silencer bracket included, this exhaust is the perfect embodiment of the nostalgic look of the XSR900 GP and its catchphrase, "The day has come to roar once again".
