Daytona has released the "Pipe Engine Guard LOWER" for the new Honda CB400SF E-Clutch. This item is designed to reduce damage to the motorcycle, engine, and rider's body in the event of a minor fall, such as a tip-over. The price is 38,500 yen (tax included).

Compact Design for Discreet and Smart Protection

The "LOWER" model has been added to Daytona's "Pipe Engine Guard" series, designed to fit the new Honda CB400SF E-Clutch. This product was developed with the concept of a compact design that does not protrude excessively and remains discreet.

It features a matte black finish that blends naturally with the motorcycle's styling without significantly altering its appearance. The steel pipe is equipped with nylon resin reduction sliders, which also serve as design accents. While providing practical protection, it also enhances the motorcycle's appearance.

Functionality to Reduce Damage from Falls and Allow Accessory Mounting

In terms of functionality, it is highly effective in preventing damage from accidental tip-overs or minor falls. In the event of a fall, the engine guard will contact the ground before the rider's leg gets caught. While minimizing protrusion, the contact between the motorcycle body and the engine guard creates space, designed to prevent the rider's body from being trapped between the motorcycle.

Furthermore, it protects the crankcase area, reducing damage to the engine and preventing troubles such as a cracked case that would render the motorcycle immobile. The included resin pad (reduction slider) disperses impact, and along with high-strength bolts, it provides robust protection for the motorcycle.

The main pipe is made of Φ25.4mm steel pipe, the same diameter as standard handlebars. This allows for the mounting of handlebar clamp-type accessories such as fog lamps and action cameras.

It is also compatible with Daytona's LED fog lamp kits "Precious Ray W" and "Precious Ray Small," offering expandability to further enhance convenience and safety during touring.

This product is a set of left and right guards, and includes all necessary high-strength bolts and resin pads for installation. Please note that it cannot be installed simultaneously with the company's "Upper" (Part Number: 62452).
