New on the market is an oil cooler kit for the DAX125, which is as popular as the one for the Monkey125. This oil cooler kit gives the cute DAX125 a more hard-boiled look. It keeps the original atmosphere of the front end, but makes it look like the bike has been tuned up. While the Monkey125 requires the removal of the air cleaner box, the DAX125 allows the use of the stock air cleaner. The oil temperature can be reliably lowered while maintaining durability. Since it is mounted under the cylinder head, it doesn't raise the center of gravity, and since the kit is made specifically for the DAX125 it doesn't interfere with the layout of the exhaust pipes.

Of course, as it's meant to, it keeps the rise in oil temperature down, making it a good addition in the summer or after a big bore modification. The filter cover is equipped with an oil relief valve mechanism that releases oil pressure when excessive pressure is applied, and the built-in powerful neodymium magnet collects iron dust. The material of the oil hose that runs next to the engine is selectable, so you can choose whether you want to focus on price, weight reduction, or appearance. If you choose the number of oil cooler core levels according to your future engine tuning plans, you will not have to replace it later.

Although the front mudguard can no longer be installed (rough road riding and off-road use won't be possible), almost no one rides off-road with the DAX125, right? If you want to have a DAX125 that looks cute and runs well on asphalt, this oil cooler kit is a must-have.

Mounting Method

Install the special mounting bracket on the tappet cover of the stock cylinder head and attach the oil cooler body under the cylinder head.

Oil Cooler Routing

Oil can be taken out to the oil cooler by attaching the special oil filter cover. The oil filter cover is equipped with a pressure relief valve mechanism, and a neodymium magnet is also installed to attract iron powder that gets mixed in with the engine oil. For connection from the oil outlet to the oil cooler body, you have a choice of rubber hose, braided hose #4, or SlimLine hose.

Oil Cooler Body

The oil cooler body uses Compact Cool for an excellent cooling effect. The number of levels of the body can be selected from 4 fins and 5 oil lines or 3 fins and 4 oil lines. An oil cooler plate and guard are also included as standard.

Other

For the amount of oil, it is necessary to add approx. 60cc (for 4 fins) / 40cc (for 3 fins) to the normal prescribed amount. The front mudguard cannot be installed.
