Honda will release the ADV160 adventure-style light motorcycle scooter on May 21 with significantly enhanced equipment and some exterior design changes. The most significant new features include a new 5-inch full-color TFT meter and the standard installation of "Honda RoadSync," a smartphone-linked function. Rider convenience has been dramatically enhanced, from daily travel to full-scale touring.

The pioneer of the SUV-like scooter underwent a minor change with enhanced equipment

The ADV160 has not been remodeled since 2024. The new model has received enhancements in equipment and appearance, but the major highlight is the inclusion of the "Honda RoadSync" smartphone linkage function. In conjunction with this, a new 5-inch full-color TFT meter was introduced on the instrument panel. By linking a mobile device with a dedicated application installed, functions such as navigation and music playback can be displayed. Along with this improvement, the select switch on the steering wheel has also been upgraded. It is now also possible to use voice input via a headset (sold separately).

The ADV160 has been redesigned for the first time in two years. The smartphone linkage function & TFT monitor enhance convenience.

Road sync connects the car body to the smartphone via Bluetooth, displaying navigation, weather forecasts, and more.

Of course, the utility aspect remains the same: USB Type-C sockets, the Honda Smart Key system, and a large 29-liter under-seat luggage space have been retained as standard equipment. From everyday usability to touring, the specifications that cater to the convenience of the rider remain the same as before.

New color scheme and price increase of 44,000 yen

The power unit is the same as before, with a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, OHC 4-valve engine with a displacement of 156 cc. Maximum output is 12 kW at 8,500 rpm and maximum torque is 15 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The seat height is slightly higher at 780 mm, and the vehicle weighs a compact 137 kg. The suspension is equipped with 14-inch front and 13-inch rear block-pattern tires, enhancing the adventure scooter feel.

The engine is the same 160cc single-cylinder that delivers 16 PS as before, and the tough looks are still there, with block tires as standard equipment.

A total of three new color variations are available. The new colors are "Matte Pearl Agile Blue" for a sporty look and "Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic" for a tough look. The "Pearl Smoky Gray" remains the same as before. The new ADV160 will go on sale on May 21, 2026 (Thursday) at a manufacturer's suggested retail price of 539,000 yen, up 44,000 yen from the previous model. The planned annual sales volume is 4,100 units.
