Based on the "Sugomi" theme common to the Z series, the new "Z650 S" model for 2026 is now available in a powerful new design. It features a new ergonomic approach to fit, repositioned footpegs, fat-bar handlebars, and improved rider and passenger seats. The forward leaning riding position has been improved and blends perfectly with the improved cushioning of the front seat (which is approximately 20 mm higher than the previous Z650). The overall seat width has been widened and the rear seat widened by 20 mm, with 10 mm more cushioning. A style seat and a 20 mm lower Ergofit seat are also available as accessories.

The improved position increases comfort for both rider and passenger. From city riding to long rides, the new "Z650 S" is suitable for a wide range of situations.

The overall design of the new "Z650 S" is more voluminous, with a new aggressively designed front cowl with a three-lens LED headlight, LED rear light, and LED indicators incorporated to accentuate its powerful presence. The front aluminum radiator cover and the compact, sharply designed tail also emphasize the machine's intimidating appearance. Metallic accents are scattered throughout, further enhancing the luxurious feel.

The latest design update includes a cowl equipped with a three-lens LED headlight, which was first used on the Z900.

In addition to a new riding position and 30mm wider handlebars, the Z900 also features a new 4.3-inch TFT instrument panel. This TFT instrument panel not only accurately displays all information, but also reacts to ambient light to provide the highest resolution. The display is available in two options: Type 1 is a bar-style tachometer and Type 2 is a hexagonal tachometer. The background color of the screen automatically switches from white to black when ambient light is low, but it is also possible to manually set white or black to suit the rider's preference. In addition, the meter also serves as an interface for riders to use Kawasaki's Rideology the App Motorcycle app on their smartphones, expanding the range of cool features available.
