In Race 1 of the FIM Yamaha R3 BLU CRU World Cup held at the Magny-Cours Circuit in France, Japan's RichiTakahira claimed his first victory. RintaroTakemoto finished in 2nd place, marking a 1-2 finish for the Japanese riders.

RichiTakahira wins the fierce battle on the final lap

Race 1 of the FIM Yamaha R3 BLU CRU World Cup at the Magny-Cours Circuit in France saw a fierce battle involving multiple riders until the very end. The race began with local French rider RomeoMoneiron, who started from pole position, leading the early stages.

In the final stages of the race, an incident occurred between Moneiron and championship contender AymonBocanegra, causing the lead group to split. This left RichiTakahira, RintaroTakemoto, and Switzerland's AlessandroBinder to break away on the final lap.

Although Takemoto made a fierce pursuit toward the final corner, Takahira managed to hold on by a margin of just 0.195 seconds to take the checkered flag. Takemoto followed in 2nd and Binder in 3rd, with the Japanese riders achieving a brilliant 1-2 finish. Meanwhile, HaruhiroOkada finished the race in 7th place.

Joy of the first victory and enthusiasm for Race 2

Takahira, who celebrated his brilliant first victory, said, "I am very happy. The final corner was a bit scary, but I managed to get through it and secure my first win. It is important to have won the first race, and I want to do my best again tomorrow."

Meanwhile, championship leader SharniPinfold (Mendes) fought back from a last-place start to finish 4th, solidifying her position at the top of the rankings. For Sunday's Race 2, which will be determined by the fastest lap of Race 1, Bocanegra is scheduled to start from pole position.
