Released during the naked bike boom that swept Japan in the early 1990s, the GSX250S Katana was a model that, as its name suggests, recreated the style of the legendary "GSX1100S Katana" in the 250cc class. Equipped with Suzuki's proud water-cooled inline-4 engine of the time, it achieved both a smooth revving feel up to high RPMs and the flowing design unique to the Katana.

Despite being in the 250cc class, its imposing silhouette, reminiscent of its larger sibling, captivated many riders, and it continues to receive strong support from classic bike enthusiasts even today.
