Large Displacement Ultra-Tourer Bike: Kawasaki GPZ900 Custom

MC GEMMA's GPZ900R

Participate in races and enjoy a variety of touring activities from long to short tours. GPZ900 was built for long distance riding, like 1,000 km a day. Reliability to withstand continuous riding over long distances and improved maneuverability due to moderate weight reduction. The engine is a fine-tuned version of the original ZRX1200 base. Later, it was converted to 1224cc based on the ZZR1200.

A variety of modern ignition/control systems, such as direct ignition and 3D maps, are also being tried. It is an ultra tourer that can also be used as a reference for data collection such as "What would happen if a large-displacement bike were to cruise 1,000 km per day?". The characteristic of riding a long range all at once even being highly tuned. The suspension is also designed to be an all-weather setup that can be ride in the rain.

Handle

The windshield is Zero Gravity Double Bubble Smoke, and the gauges are Stack ST-3852 on the left speedometer, ST100 on the right engine tachometer, and GIPro shift indicator in the water temperature gauge section. In addition, a Yoshimura digital multimeter/temp meter has been added. Handlebars are Gil's Touring.

Bodyworks

The seat is an MC.Gemma SLS sport riding seat. The fuel tank is made of aluminum to reduce weight.

Engine

The engine is a ZZR1200 with JEΦ 81mm forged pistons to 1224cc. Engine slider cover, pulsing cover, and front sprocket cover/clutch release are made by K-FACTORY. The down tube/riding step is also made by K-Factory to enhance the stability of the chassis.

Intake & Exhaust

Carburetor is FCR Φ39mm. Engine slider is K-Factory.

Chassis

Front fork is Ohlins inverted FGRT. Carbon front fenders are Active. Front brake calipers are Brembo radial CNC P4 30/34. Brake discs are Sunstar Works Expanded.

Rear brakes are Brembo CNC P2 34 calipers + Sunstar premium racing discs. The exhaust system is a K-FACTORY Titanium 4-1.

The rear shock is a Bulldocker TAGOS original Hyper Pro. Front and rear wheels are MAGTAN JB3 3.50-17/6.25-17". The drive chain is D.I.D.'s 520ZVMX.
