The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs hosted a special event in Rome, "MOTO D’ITALIA – CULTURE BEYOND THE TRACK," to honor prominent figures in MotoGP and the Italian motorcycle community. At this event, new "Sports Diplomacy Ambassadors" were appointed to recognize their contributions to the world of motorcycling.

Among the newly appointed ambassadors are Valentino Rossi, a seven-time MotoGP World Champion (participating via video link), current champion Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team), Marco Bezzecchi (Aprilia Racing, participating via video link), as well as MotoGP Hall of Famer Giacomo Agostini and MotoGP legend Max Biaggi.

Industry Key Figures Gather to Celebrate Motorcycle Culture

In addition to the appointed riders, the event featured speakers such as Massimo Rivola, CEO of Aprilia Racing; Claudio Domenicali, CEO of Ducati; Giovanni Copioli, President of the Italian Motorcycle Federation (FMI); and Carmelo Ezpeleta, CEO of Dorna Sports (MotoGP group).

This special occasion, which brought together stakeholders from the motorcycle world both within and outside Italy, served as a platform to widely celebrate and promote motorsports, related industries, and the significant role they play in culture.
