ADVANTAGE MIKUNI Needle Jet 001

Needle jets wear out by rubbing against the needle when the throttle is turned on and off. Since they are a central part of the carburetor, they should be replaced with new ones to maintain good performance.

Pilot jets affect throttle performance from fully closed to fully open. They are composed of several precise, extremely fine holes, and clogging or deformation of these holes can cause malfunction. Replacing them with brand new ones will give you peace of mind.
