BABYFACE's KATANA
BabyFace participates in the top tier of the All Japan Road Race, the JSB1000 class, and provides support and product supply to overseas events such as AMA Superbike. The expertise gained from these experiences is reflected in their NC machining parts, which have been widely deployed for various models, parts, and maintenance purposes. These include aluminum-machined parts such as Performance Step Kits, Race Concept Steps/Handlebars, Handlebar Ends, and Lever Guards. Additionally, there are sliders made from Duracon (polyacetal resin). In this demo bike, most of these Suzuki KATANA compatible parts are installed.
Among the distinctive parts of the KATANA, the most notable is the handle kit. The stock handlebar and handlebar holder are removed, and the kit's base plate and left and right plates are mounted on the top bridge. Clip-on handles are then mounted behind these plates. It is said, 'This makes sports riding and winding roads more enjoyable, and the wires and handlebar ends can be reused as they are.' Despite being a 5-piece structure with NC machining, it is reasonably priced. Also, a new Engine Slider made of an aluminum base + resin slider has been added recently. Another point of interest is the functional parts that have been created from the racing scene. One such part is the Swingarm Stand Hook, which is useful when using a maintenance stand, as shown in the photo. Also, a Chain Hook prevents the drive chain, which hangs down when the axle shaft is pulled out to change the rear tire, from interfering with other parts. The Socket Flange, machined in the shape of a spool, can be used for cargo hooks and other applications. It seems that adapting such a universal lineup of products to enhance the convenience of the KATANA is a characteristic of BabyFace parts.
Handle
The handle kit for SUZUKI KATANA is installed after removing the handle holder to convert it into a clip-on handle. The kit is manufactured using full NC machining at the company's own factory, ensuring high quality at a reasonable price.
Among the universal parts, the Helmet Lock Mirror Holder Type 32mm is to be attached to the front master section or the clutch side. The carabiner and the part below it serve as an anchor to make it easy to attach to the helmet's D-ring by inserting them into the holder.

A machined duralumin base is mounted on the crankcase, and a machined Duracon Engine Slider L is set on top of it. It not only functions as a slider, but also enhances the appearance.
Chassis
BACKSTEP SUZUKI KATANA (19-) is a simple one-plate design NC machined step. The bar position can be set to 5 positions (back x up).
The SUZUKI KATANA (19-) Axle Protector is a popular parts that protects both ends of the axle shafts in the event of a fall.
The V-shaped part seen under the rear axle protector is the Swingarm Stand Hook. A Chain Hook is also installed on the upper side of the swingarm. These parts are useful for maintenance.
