October 19 (Sunday) Final Race: Honda Dream Racing Bells Okura #4 Finishes 2nd Overall in IA-1 Class, Bells Racing Yoshida #14 Finishes 9th Overall in IA-2 Class to End Round 6

Round 6 of the 2025 DID All Japan Motocross Championship was held at Offroad Village under cloudy skies throughout the day. Both classes had 3 heats of 15 minutes + 1 lap. All riders were ready for the final race in good condition.

IA-1 Final Race

Heat 1

Okura, who was 5th in the morning's official practice and TA qualifying, was 2nd in the opening lap, but crashed 5 minutes into the race and was 4th. However, he continued to drive well and finished 3rd, defending his podium position. He kept his podium position.

Heat 2

Looking to get off to a good start, Okura was 5th in the opening lap and steadily worked his way up through the field to finish 3rd in the 15-minute race.

Heat 3

Okura was unable to get off to a good start and was 7th in the opening lap. He was in the lead group from the beginning of the race, and with his speed and concentration, he was able to make a strong pursuit. Midway through the race, he calmly chose his line amidst the turbulence when the leader crashed, and took the lead and went on to take the checkered flag. This was his second win of the season.

Comment from Okura

Round 6 of the All-Japan championship is over. We finished 3rd, 3rd, and 1st. I didn't get the overall, but I was able to finish heat 3 in a good way. In heat 3, I had a little crash in heat 1, and in heat 2, I was a little stiff due to the rain. I have not given up on the championship yet, and I will do my best to get it for the final round. IA-2 Final Race

Heat 1

Yoshida, who was 6th in time attack, passed the opening lap in 6th position. Yoshida was 6th in the time attack, and was able to catch up to the podium position in the middle of the race to finish 3rd.

Heat 2

Yoshida got off to a slow start and was 10th in the opening lap. He was unable to catch up to the top group and finished 6th.

Heat 3

Yoshida crashed at the start and was 30th in the opening lap. Yoshida was able to catch up to 18th place in the middle of the race, but crashed again and finished 23rd.

Yoshida's Comment

Thank you for your hard work. Round 6 Offroad Village is over. I was 3rd in heat 1, 7th in heat 2, and 23rd in heat 3, 9th overall. It was not my favorite course, but I was on the podium in heat 1, and heat 2 was not that bad, but I crashed twice in heat 3 and lost some positions. I am going to win both heats in the next issue, so please support me. Thank you very much for your support.

Director Kojima's Comment

The All Japan Motocross Championships, Round 6 in Kanto, Japan, has ended successfully. I was 2nd overall with 3 wins in heat 1, 3 in heat 2, and 3 in heat 3. I think that was great. With one round to go, we are only 3 points away from the championship, which is quite rare for a champion. In IA2, Yoshida failed to qualify last round, but he improved a lot and finished 3rd in Heat 1. I didn't expect to be on the podium, but my performance in the last two heats was not so bad, but my driving was not that bad. I finished 9th overall. Next time in Sugo, which is my specialty, I will do my best to win the Ping Ping championship, so please give me your support. Thank you very much for your support.
