Why AELLA is working on the Honda CB1000F
The AELLA booth at the Tokyo Motorcycle Show 2026. Two Honda CB1000F and Kawasaki Z900RS equipped with AELLA parts were displayed in front of the blue panel.
AELLA develops original parts, mainly positioning parts that allow riders to ride, turn, and stop comfortably, and when the brand was launched in 1991, it focused on imported vehicles such as Ducati and BMW. In recent years, AELLA has been actively developing products with motifs based on Japanese vehicles, such as the Kawasaki Z900RS and the Suzuki Hayabusa "Kyo Sui" displayed at the 2025 Motorcycle Show. The CB1000F, AELLA's first Honda model, made its debut at the 2026 Motorcycle Show, and as the CB itself is a hot new model, it was inevitable that various parts constructors would be quick to get their hands on it. However, the reason for the CB1000F's existence is not just the development of a new model. The current president of AELLA, who is a graduate of Honda Academy, had deepened his knowledge of the design concept and feel of Honda vehicles while attending the school, and had a vision of using Honda vehicles for customization in the future. Just as anyone who is sympathetic to Honda vehicles has a special feeling for the CB, AELLA also started developing custom parts for its first Honda vehicle when the attractive new model CB1000F was introduced.
AELLA's philosophy reflected in the CB1000F
The CB1000F "Kyo Ao" is equipped with AELLA's original parts, which were developed based on the idea of "why it was made this way" and "what could be done to make it even better" while maintaining the beauty of the stock model. The CB1000F "Kyo Ao" is equipped with AELLA's original parts.
Although this was the first Honda model, the approach to the project was not at all blurred. AELLA's approach to the development of parts is unmistakable, with an inquisitive mind that asks, "What could be done better? AELLA's core products, riding steps and adjustable handlebars, are not intended to be replaced, but rather to optimize the riding position for riders of average Japanese physique and to improve the overall feel of the vehicle. The concept of the position change is to set a sporty and compact riding form so that the rider can relax and control the bike well in a wide range of situations, from city riding to winding roads, with a set of handlebars and steps. On top of that, the step position can be adjusted to four positions, and the handlebars can be fine-tuned to the rider's preference by selecting any aperture angle. The handlebars are machined from aluminum ingots and feature high rigidity, and the high clamping rigidity reduces vibration transmitted to the grips, which contributes to improved comfort during touring and other long-distance riding.
Dress up your CB1000F with a coloring similar to AELLA blue
The side view is eye-catching with machined aluminum steps that are less flashy but still have sharp edges and an impressive mechanical form.
The subdued matte blue coloring, which reproduces the graphics of the CB900F, is inspired by the CB of the 1980s, while at the same time echoing AELLA's image color of blue. It is not a mere coloring, but a symbolic expression of the respect for the 80's era and the aesthetic sense cultivated in Kyoto. This attitude is carried through not only in the individual parts but also in the overall concept of the vehicle. The various parts installed on the motorcycles exhibited at the show are still under development, and will be officially announced one after another in the future, so please keep an eye on SNS for more information.
Machined variable handlebars that allow each rider to select the optimal position
AE-27072, preliminary price: 76,890 yen
Compared to the stock, the height is -15mm, the front is -15mm, and the width is -20mm, realizing a compact position.
The aperture angle can be set at 26±2° compared to the stock 28°.
AELLA's unique variable handlebar is most notable for its combination of machined aluminum parts. While a typical pipe handlebar may not suit the rider's physique and preferences, the clamp and handlebar are separate parts that allow the aperture angle to be changed by changing the fastening angle, thereby optimizing the riding position.
While the clamp portion is made of aluminum ingot, the middle portion has been cut out to reduce both weight and vibration. The part that rises at an angle from the clamp part and the handlebar part are also made as separate parts to improve precision and completely eliminate slight angle differences that are common in pipe bending bars.
Riding Steps Invite Sport Riding
AE-10113 [Riding step] 89,800yen
Step kit that can be set 4 positions of 20mm/30mm rearward/15mm/25mm upward compared to stock.
The riding step kit meets all the requirements for aftermarket steps at a high level: a step bar that securely holds riding shoes and prevents slipping even on rainy days, pedals that operate smoothly with built-in bearings, and a beautiful design with machined aluminum. The step bar and pedals are made of machined aluminum. The gorgeous electroless nickel-plated coloring is also an attractive feature.
The shift pedal uses a step coaxial system that differs from the factory one. The linkage rod is one more linkage rod, so the intersection angle with the shift rod is a key design element, and AELLA focused on making the two cross at 90° for smooth shifting operation. The joint where the two rods connect was designed to accommodate either forward or reverse shifting.
AE-74053 [shift holder] 9,460 yen (preliminary price)
The longer the gear change shaft protruding from the engine, the more likely it is that the shaft will flex during shifting. The shift holder supports the gear change shaft between the engine and the shift release arm for more secure shifting. 2-piece construction also allows for centering of the change shaft.

Frame Slider 】AE-68172 Retail price ¥31,680 The frame slider combines a black anodized plate that blends in naturally with the vehicle body with a resin cone. The left side can be installed with or without the performance damper.
Engine cover that combines a sense of security and functional beauty
AE-68175 2-piece engine guard set】AE-68175 JPY 38,280 Engine guard that can be bolted on and reduces damage in the event of a fall.
Protector that provides both protection and cooling effect
AE-56060 Radiator protector】 AE-56060 JPY24,090 The center of the radiator protector has a fine mesh to protect it from mud and pebbles thrown up by the front wheels, while the outside has a larger mesh for cooling effect. The radiator cap cover (prototype) is a general-purpose part that is bolted over the factory cap.
Link Rod for Stepless Ride Height Adjustment
Link Plate & Link Rod] Under development This link plate and link rod set allows ride height adjustment by replacing the factory parts. The end eye portion of the link rod uses needle bearings, which also has the advantage of smoothly transmitting movement from the swing arm to the suspension.
