November 15, 2025. A special exhibition project, "Everybody's Single Cylinder Festival 2025," was held at the Webic Festival site, with advance registration required and limited to 100 vehicles. Organized by the author, who hosts popular morning activity meetings on the Instagram community "Everybody's Single Cylinder (a.k.a. Mintan)," the morning activity usually held with a small number of people was expanded to the festival scale. In this issue, we look back on the day!

The "Single Cylinder Festival for Everyone" was held on a special stage set up on the way from the general bicycle parking area to the main venue..!

An invitation from Webic
'Why don't we display a limited number of unique bikes that will appear in everyone's single cylinder at the Webic Festival?' This proposal from Webic was the beginning of everything. The name "Everybody's Single Cylinder" is an Instagram community that connects riders who love street bikes. Although the name is "single cylinder," the author's main bike is a two-cylinder BMW R50/5, so he is not limited by the number of cylinders, but covers a wide range of motorcycles, including street bikes, old cars, custom bikes, and vintage racing. The core of their activities are "morning meetings" with a small group of people. This year's event was an expanded version of that event, open to the approximately 6,000 visitors to the Webic Festival.

The "Morning Meeting" is held early in the morning almost every weekend in the suburbs of Tokyo. The meeting is held from 6:30am to 7:30am, and the information is sent out the night before the meeting!

Some of the members who have been with us since we started our morning meetings three years ago joined us! (The bike is a YAMAHA TW225)

A large number of female riders also participated in the event! (Vehicle is a ROYAL ENFIELD CLASSIC 500)
Limited to 100 bikes! Unique street bikes were all lined up!
From typical single cylinder models such as SR/FTR/TW, Harley (Sportster/Shovel/Aermacchi), BMW (R9T/R100/R75), Triumph (old Bonneville/current custom bike), DUCATI (MHR900, 900SS), Royal Enfield, Z1/ Cubs, BRIDGESTONE, Snake, MotoCompo... It was truly a spectacular sight to see bikes of different styles and ages all lined up in a row. The density of the exhibition, limited to 100 bikes, created a level of excitement that transcended the mere display.

Speaking of single cylinders, the YAMAHA SR400! (Vehicle is an SR from the famous Orange Boulevard store)
Popularity vote by the general public was also held!
A popularity contest was held by the general public on the day of the event, and the "Webic Award" was given to the vehicle that garnered the most support. (Winners were... BMW R nineT, HONDA CB400FOUR, and YAMAHA XV750.) In addition, the "Single Cylinder Award for Everyone," chosen by the organizer at his own discretion and prejudice, went to the CB400SS, which designed the event logo! The excitement reached its peak when the "Nobuki Kato Award" chosen by Nobuki Kato, a well-known creator of the motorcycle show's main visuals, went to the SR400 with its impressive pop presence!

The BMW R nineT, which came in first in the popular vote, was a fully customized vehicle by CHERRY'S COMPANY!

The Single Cylinder Award went to Nana, the designer who designed the festival's logo, and his beloved Honda CB400SS

The Nobuki Kato Award went to...a whopper of a filmmaker, Yu Nakamoto! (On the left: Nobuki Kato, on the right: Yuu Nakamoto)
Where 6,000 people's eyes meet
This event was not only an "exhibition" but also a "meeting place" for riders. The main visitors to the Webic Festival were current car and supersport users. That is why the presence of 100 old and custom vehicles stood out among the crowd. I've never seen a bike like this before! What's the base model of this bike? I used to ride one when I was young! I used to ride one when I was young! They stopped, took pictures, looked at the bikes from different angles, and sometimes talked with the owners. Riders who normally do not meet each other exchange glances and interests through their bikes. There is no need to force them to become friends. Just get to know, touch, and feel each other. That is how people are loosely connected. This scene was my main goal. Motorcycles are a declining industry in Japan, and the community is not large. That is why it is important for riders with diverse values to build bridges with each other. I believe that the "Single Cylinder Festival for Everyone" was able to fulfill such a role of "cross-cultural exchange. (Self-satisfaction? Laughter)

What "Single Cylinder for Everyone" hopes to accomplish
The "Everybody's Single Cylinder Festival" was held as a special event limited to 100 bikes. The next event has not yet been decided, but the experience of this year's event will lead to the next step. The event has provided an opportunity for riders to interact with each other across genres, and for visitors to discover anew the appeal of motorcycles. We will continue our down-to-earth activities so that "Single Cylinder for Everyone" can connect people and help preserve motorcycle culture.
