The CRF1100L Africa Twin is an adventure model equipped with a 1,084cc SOHC (Unicam) 8-valve inline two-cylinder engine. It delivers a maximum output of 75kW and a maximum torque of 112Nm, offering riders a "Go Anywhere" experience with its powerful and wide powerband, suitable for long-distance travel and various road conditions.

It features four riding modes: Tour, Urban, Gravel, and Offroad, in addition to two user modes that can be customized to the rider's preferences. The chassis control utilizes a 6-axis IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) to support safety features and riding performance, including HSTC (Honda Selectable Torque Control), Wheelie Control, and Cornering ABS. The suspension is equipped with Showa EERA inverted front forks and Showa EERA Pro-Link rear suspension, which allow for electronically controlled damping force adjustment.

The cockpit features a 6.5-inch full-digital TFT touch screen panel meter compatible with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bluetooth connectivity. Other features include cruise control, a 5-stage adjustable windscreen, a full LED lighting system, dual wave disc brakes, and heated grips. The DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission) model offers D mode, S mode, and manual operation, along with a G switch to support control during off-road riding.

Octavianus Dwi, Marketing Director of AHM, explained the refresh: "This is an option for consumers who make motorcycles a part of their lifestyle and love for adventure. Through the refresh of colors and graphics, we want to offer a more attractive option while maintaining the tough character that is the identity of the Africa Twin." These three colors are the same as those announced for the 2026 European model in January 2026.
