Proto Co., Ltd. has begun sales of the "Direct Shift Step Bright Edge" performance footpeg kit for the 2024 Honda CB1000F, a collaboration between PLOT and BabyFace.

BabyFace’s performance step kits are developed under the concept of “superior functionality, quality, and outstanding design,” and the company continues to refine its products based on rider feedback, from public roads to the racetrack.The newly released "Direct Shift Step" model features a shift rod that connects directly to the shift pedal on the step plate, promising an improved shifting feel.
The "Bright Edge" special edition, custom-made for Proto, features a double anodized finish characterized by a sharp, polished luster created by precision-machined edges. It successfully combines a luxurious appearance with superior functionality.
Three Selectable Positions and Improved Operability
This product offers three selectable positions: UP 58mm/BACK 45mm, UP 58mm/BACK 55mm, and UP 58mm/BACK 65mm, allowing riders to set the optimal riding position to suit their physique and preferences.Furthermore, it features rubber pedals for even better handling. Another nice bonus is the included helmet strap (featuring the W logo).
The price is 82,500 yen (tax included), and it is compatible with the CB1000F (2026 model year). The shift pattern is standard upshift only. Two versions are available: the standard specification and a shifter-compatible model.
