The Italian motorcycle exhibition "MBE" has announced its top 5 European motorcycle museums to visit this summer. These meccas, located in Austria, Switzerland, and Italy, offer a chance to explore historic masterpieces and the evolution of racing.

The Italian motorcycle exhibition "MBE" has unveiled five museums across Europe, veritable temples of motorcycle culture, perfect for a summer touring season. These institutions are more than just collections; they are destinations situated along the most coveted touring routes for riders.

First is the "Top Mountain Motorcycle Museum" in Hochgurgl, Austria. Located at an altitude of 2175 meters, it's Europe's highest motorcycle museum, situated at the entrance to the popular Timmelsjoch (Tromblach Pass) route. Over 500 motorcycles are displayed within its 4500 square meter space.

Second is the FIM official "Racing Motorcycle Museum" in Mies, Switzerland. Near Geneva, it showcases the history of motorsport, from pioneering machines of the early 20th century to championship-winning bikes of today, complete with simulators.

Third is "La Storia del Sic" in Coriano, Italy. This gallery traces the life of the late GP rider Marco Simoncelli, displaying his beloved bikes, helmets, and racing suits. It's located close to the Misano World Circuit.

Fourth is the "Piaggio Museum" in Pontedera, Italy. It chronicles the history of brands like Vespa, Piaggio, Gilera, Moto Guzzi, and Aprilia. From July 9 to November 7, 2026, a special exhibition, "80 Years of an Icon," will celebrate Vespa's 80th anniversary.

Fifth is the "ASI Scooter & Lambretta Museum" in Rodano, near Milan, Italy. With over 180 scooters on display, it offers a journey through the evolution of scooters, featuring valuable historical documents and promotional materials from Lambretta.
