Aruba.it Racing - Ducati Team has announced the contract renewal with Spanish rider Iker Lecuona. This decision confirms Lecuona's continued participation in the Superbike World Championship (WorldSBK) with the team for the 2027 and 2028 seasons.
Lecuona has been a key rider for the team, competing with the factory-spec Ducati "Panigale V4 R." Since the start of the 2026 season, he has achieved excellent results, securing 20 podium finishes together with the team.
Furthermore, he achieved a remarkable milestone by winning his first-ever World Superbike Championship race in Race 1 at the recent Donington Park round. This contract renewal signifies the strong collaborative relationship and expectations for further success.
