Triumph Motorcycles Japan K.K. has decided to sponsor the JNCC (Japan National Cross Country Championship) as a first step to expand awareness and strengthen sales of its off-road models, including enduro models that are popular around the world. The company announced that it will launch various initiatives with the JNCC in earnest starting with the 2026 race.

Background and Purpose of Sponsorship

The TF 250-E and TF 450-E enduro models, the most popular of Triumph's off-road models, are exceptionally competitive in both technical terrain and high-speed sections, and were developed to deliver outstanding performance in races and on the trail. The Enduro model has had a strong track record and won some of the world's most prestigious races, including the FIM Enduro GP World Championship, the International Six Days Enduro (ISDE), and three championships in its home country of the United Kingdom. Furthermore, Triumph's 6th place finish in the 2025 Elsberg Groteo Hard Enduro race, considered the toughest enduro race in the world and the only 4-stroke machine to finish the race, which has a 1% finish rate, has shown the world the performance, durability and competitiveness of Triumph's production enduro machines. Triumph's production Enduro machines are known around the world for their performance, durability and competitiveness. As a result of Triumph's success in the global racing scene, some racers and off-road enthusiasts in Japan have already become fans of Triumph's off-road motorcycles. Triumph is delighted to be working with the JNCC to further develop the market for Triumph's off-road bikes, starting with its sponsorship of the JNCC in 2026, and to expand awareness and sales of Triumph's off-road bikes in the wider off-road scene, where many professional and amateur racers participate. Triumph is committed to further expand the market for Triumph's off-road motorcycles and promote their sales.
