Supervised by Legend Rider Yukio Kagayama

Racing boots for circuit riding require a balance between operability that allows for precise pedal work and protection that reduces the risk of injury in case of a fall. While SCOYCO has previously offered the "MR003" for beginners, they have developed the "MR005" as a flagship model to accommodate higher-level riding.

Mr. Yukio Kagayama, who leads "DUCATI TEAM KAGAYAMA" in the All Japan Road Race Championship, was appointed as the development advisor. Mr. Kagayama himself conducted extensive real-world testing during races and practice sessions, repeatedly verifying the feel and protective functions, resulting in practical racing specifications that satisfy top riders.

Furthermore, Tomoya Hoshino of "TONE Team4413 BMW," who competes in the All Japan Road Race Championship JSB1000 class and the Suzuka 8 Hours Endurance Road Race, is also wearing them in actual races this season, proving their durability and reliability capable of withstanding the highest level of racing environments.

Balancing Protection and Comfort in Case of Falls

This product features a double-layer inner boot structure to ensure a secure fit. A bi-axial ankle system is incorporated at the ankle, providing a natural range of motion for shifting and braking while suppressing twisting in the left-right direction, which is common in falls.

The upper part is equipped with large TPU protectors that diffuse impact, an impact-absorbing pad at the heel, and a 3D toe cap at the toe. Additionally, replaceable magnesium alloy sliders are attached to the sides of the toe, allowing for extended use of the boots by replacing worn parts.

The closure system uses a toothed ratchet buckle, enabling quick and fine-tuning of the fit even while wearing gloves. Large mesh ventilation is placed on the front to allow airflow, and the flexible collar at the opening and accordion-shaped stretch reduce pressure during a forward-leaning posture while preventing the ingress of foreign objects.

The main material is microfiber leather, which offers both suppleness and resistance to abrasion and weathering. The retail price is 49,800 yen (tax included), available in White/Gold, and sizes range from 25.5cm (39) to 29.5cm (45) in seven sizes.
