Makino's DAX
For a bike with a long, low profile like the Dax, the M-Kids exhaust fits perfectly. The rear shocks have been shortened to 240mm, and both the frame and engine have been finished with a custom paint job. The point cover, crafted by Mizuno Sheet Metal using an NC lathe, features raised lettering in aluminum whose muted shine complements the retro feel of the bike.
By the way, the helmet placed next to the bike is also custom-made — clearly, the builder is carving out their own path in customization!
Bodywork
For Dax enthusiasts, adding a handcrafted leather collar is a common touch. The oil cooler guard is laser-cut with lettering, and the careful use of color in this area is particularly well done.
Intake & Exhaust
The M-Kids stainless steel racing megaphone exhaust, made specifically for the Dax and Chaly, is a three-piece design, which allows flexible installation. This versatility makes it popular among custom bike builders. It supports a wide range of displacements, from 88cc up to over 160cc.
