STRIKER's Z900RS

The Kawasaki Z900RS, a neo-retro sports bike that was first unveiled at the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show and continues to be popular, underwent significant changes for its 2023 model released in the autumn of 2022, including a change in model designation from the conventional 2BL-ZR900C to 8BL-ZR900K.

When such changes are made, aftermarket manufacturers typically need to confirm whether their existing parts can still be used with the new model. In Japan, for instance, exhausts require government certification after being adapted to the new model, and other parts may present different challenges. Depending on the motorcycle manufacturer and model, some aftermarket manufacturers might even modify the materials, bolt positions, or shapes of their parts to accommodate the new model. Since such changes are not typically announced in advance, each parts manufacturer must individually inspect and verify the fitment by obtaining the actual vehicle and, if confirmed, update the information on their websites and catalogs. This process can be a time-consuming and meticulous task for parts manufacturers.

However, one brand, Striker, developed by Colors International, was quick to address this issue.

"We take pride in being at the forefront of providing parts for the initial release of the Z900RS, and we wanted to maintain that sense of speed for the '23 model as well. The range of Z900RS parts has now become our flagship product line. We see this as a perfect opportunity to appeal to riders who are purchasing new bikes with the message, 'If it's Z900RS, it's got to be Striker,'" commented Striker.

The Striker brand's signature exhausts have already passed JMCA certification tests, and in December '22, they released two types of full exhausts: a classic round-shaped silencer with a carbon end and an oblong OFF-TypeB silencer. The shells are available in two finishes - "Titanium Heat Color" with a blue gradient burn and "Titanium Solid" that showcases the titanium's natural appearance. Just one glance at this motorcycle and it's immediately clear which parts can be installed. This custom motorcycle from Striker, committed to putting users first and cherishing Z900RS parts, is a must-see for owners of the '23 Z900RS model.

Handle

The G-STRIKER stem kit has the same fork pitch (210mm) and fork offset (34mm) as the stock size. The handle clamp part is also set at the same height as stock. The top bridge is made of aluminum and is of the wing type. It is available in three colors: black, brown, and silver.

Bodyworks

Mild seat processing is an original service by Striker Works. It is recommended for those who feel that the stock seat is a little too hard and tires them out during long tours.

STRIKER Aero Design SAD Special Under Cowl is available in a choice of plain weave carbon clear gel coat finish or FRP black gel coat finish, catering to street riders. The STRIKER Guard Sliders (mounted on the side of the cylinder) come in three options: standard silver, all black, and carbon composite. The STRIKER Aluminum Billet Engine Hanger, available in silver as shown in the photo, can also be selected in black for additional customization.

Engine

The STRIKER radiator core guard not only protects the radiator's core and fin parts from damage and dirt but also enhances the appearance with a stylish dress-up effect. Please be aware that the part numbers differ between models manufactured before 2020 and those produced after 2021. Additionally, the STRIKER aero design SAD radiator side shroud, which extends the radiator side edges, contributes to a sleeker profile when viewed from the side.

Intake & Exhaust

The full exhaust system for the 2023 Z900RS has been available for purchase since the end of 2022. The Black Line version shown in the photo is now also available. The STRIKER INTERMODEL SC full exhaust system with OFF-TypeB silencer of the same shape and the STRIKER STREET CONCEPT titanium full exhaust system with a round silencer are also currently being sold and are highly popular among customers.

Chassis

The STRIKER Sports Touring Concept STC STEP KIT features a design with a flat surface to support the entire sole, reducing fatigue during long touring rides. It offers four selectable positions for adjustment, starting from the stock position. The kit is available in the standard black anodized color, and custom color options are also available.

The STRIKER Special Pillion Step Kit + Silencer Bracket Set is designed to be used in conjunction with the STC Step Kit, offering a perfect balance of functionality and dress-up appeal. This kit allows riders to enjoy both the convenience of pillion riding and the stylish appearance. Both the Pillion Step Kit and the Silencer Bracket can be purchased separately, and they are both finished in sleek black anodized color.

STRIKER AERO DESIGN SAD series integrated carbon front fender and STRIKER front axle sliders are installed.

The STRIKER Aero Design SAD Rear Fender is compatible with the stock swingarm. The Triple Square G-STRIKER Swingarm is available in hard anodized, black, and semi-gloss black finishes.
